We’ve Moved! 4 Fun (And Almost Free) Ways to Get the Word Out

August 7, 2012

In case you haven’t realized, we’ve moved! There are so many things that need to be taken care of before/during/after a move…turning off utilities, initiating wi-fi, not to mention packing and figuring out how all your stuff is going to make it safely to your new place. In a perfect world, there would be a utility fairy who would do all the background work to make sure no one’s going to turn off the gas off at your new home in the middle of the day (oooops.) and maybe help you with the whole change of address thing. Until then, I guess we’re stuck listening to terrible on-hold music and updating the address ourself with boring forms and more phone calls.

Phone calls and forms aside, my next order of business will be letting my friends and family know I have a new address! Printed cards can get pricey (especially if you don’t have 650 people you’d like to notify of your change in location) and spending more dough after a move is probably the last thing on your mind. Here are 4 fun (and almost free!) ways to get the word out that you’ve updated your address:

1. Change of Address Cards from Sissy Prints 2. New Beginnings Card from Pink Peppermint 3. Paint Chip Moving Announcements from Bunches of Joy 4. Customized photo cards from Red Stamp – I’ve been playing around with pictures and layouts and have narrowed it down to these three! Which style do you like the best?
