a little mother’s day lovin’

May 12, 2012

This is my mom; The woman who raised me, taught me how to ride a bike, helped me with spelling homework, made me laugh. The woman who told me I should always try my very best and was proud of me even when I wasn’t perfect. The woman who put up with my miserable teen years (and puts up with me still). The woman from which I inherited many of my kooky and sometimes neurotic tendencies (as I’m getting older, I’m not only finding this to be more and more true, but I’m also embracing the similarities). The woman who, through her strength,  taught me to be strong.

This is the woman who changed her life to help shape mine. I might be a little biased, but my mom is pretty great.

Happy mother’s day to my favorite mama!
